Atami Onsen Hotel Sunmi Club

We stayed in a Japanese-Western style room facing the ocean. It feels old, but it is well-cleaned, the room is spacious, and there is a sofa set, so we were able to relax comfortably. We were on the seventh floor, so we could see the ocean right in front of us, the Atami cityscape to the left, and the night view was also very beautiful. We chose the cheapest plan with two meals, and it came with one golden-eyed trout for each person, and the portions were just right and delicious. We were able to help ourselves to rice, miso soup, and dessert, and we even had a soft serve ice cream that we made ourselves, which we enjoyed. The large public bath is on a rotating basis for men and women, and it was unfortunate that there was only an open-air bath on one side. The view from the open-air bath was also very beautiful. The price was relatively cheap, the room was spacious, and the view was good, so we would like to use it again.

I'm lying on a mat feeling kind of homesick. However, the raw fish is good. I miss big comfy beds and room service. I miss English TV. No wifi. Karaoke is a poor substitute. The views are nice especially at night with the houses and buildings on the hillside.

stayed here for only one night in mid july 2011. it was typhoon season and one was moving in so we couldn't go to the beach or anything but me and a group of people had a traditional japanese dinner where we got to wear yukatas and everything. quite a delicious meal! and if we wanted to after we could've went to the 10th floor for the onset bath or go to the karaoke room (can't remember which floor it was on) i didn't go into the bath, just looked inside real quick, nor did i go to the karaoke room but i heard it was a lot of fun. i loved how there was a little store inside the lobby. it was extremely convenient since we didn't want to go outside in the middle of the typhoon. there were also two computers downstairs by the front desk which were also very convenient. plus the chairs they have in the lobby were very comfortable. me and my friends relaxed down in the lobby for a couple of hours during the late night (: the rooms were really nice. most of the room has tatami mats and has a nice table with a few chairs. big tv and you can even go out on the balcony which i liked a lot. i would definitely stay here again
