In Fuji City, we always stay around Fuji Central Park, which is easily accessible by car, not around the station, but Apa Hotel is a little further north. But besides the convenience of having more restaurants than the park, the comfort of the supposedly rebranded in-room environment was quite different from other Apa hotels, which felt cramped. It even has a balcony so that you can easily reach the magnificent Mt. The staff at the front desk were sincere and kind, which made a good impression on me.

Mediocre quality hotel in the midst of an industrial suburb in Fujy county, however NOT realy near Mt. Fuji. Nothing to write home about. Typical for an APA hotel: minimum for your money. Does offer free parking, but not free breakfast

This was my second hotel whilst on holiday in Japan. For sure, the hotel is a bit dated. However, the view from my room was beautiful. And the staff were helpful, and made the effort to speak in English to us, which I appreciate a great deal. The room was much bigger than I expected! I see some people criticise the staff for not speaking good English... But the bottom line is that this is Japan. By speaking *any* English, they're making an effort they shouldn't have to. And I'm certain their English is better than my Japanese, or any of the other foreign travellers Japanese for that matter... The area is pretty quiet, but it's nice to see the other side of Japan. It's calm, quiet, and peaceful here. It's right next door to a nice ramen restaurant, and a Daily Stores convinience, which is really handy. Especially for a melon-pan and coffee in the morning. We never got a chance to try the restaurant or bar here, but from what I saw, the outdoor drinking area is very popular every night, with all the tables populated. Overall, a good hotel, quiet area, Friendly help desk.
