I stayed two nights and couldn't get enough of the varied dinner buffet. I ate a lot of eel in particular, and the pot was interesting for me alone. The breakfast buffet was also quite good. It was nice to see the lake from my bed. And on the second morning, the waves were quiet, so it was fantastic to see buildings on the other side of the lake.

Looking out at the lake view in the morning sitting on the tatami from the room on first floor, it does feel like the room is floating on the lake. Astonish view! Every room is lake faced. Booking through hotel website provides a great discount. Friendly and sufficient staff. An old yet well maintained hotel. At a quiet but remote place. Takes a 15-20mins walk to nearby train station.

The building itself is quite old, so I was prepared, but the rooms and restaurant had been renovated and I could relax in a room with a view of the lake. I didn't expect a buffet, but it was interesting to see eel and roast beef, and to be able to make a one-man pot with your favorite ingredients. It was a shame that there was no lotion in the bath, but considering the difference in price from other hotels, we were able to stay quite cheaply, so I think we have to save money in many ways. The kids enjoyed a bit of putter golf and it was a good trip.
