Atagawa Prince Hotel

Lovely stay and great onsen – but remember to book meals in advance! "We had a very nice stay at the hotel. The rooms are pleasant and well-maintained, and the onsen is truly lovely and relaxing—a real highlight of our visit! Our only concern was the food situation. There is no food available at the hotel unless you have reserved it well before your arrival. We feel it is a bit of a problem that you cannot order breakfast once you are there if you didn't do it beforehand. Overall, it is a wonderful place, but we recommend that future guests make sure to settle all meal arrangements before they arrive."

Atagawa Prince Hotel delivered the best Omakase dining cuisine and provided excellent services. The waitresses are so polite and friendly. Japanese Hot Springs (ONSEN) in the hotel comes from the source (源泉) - which springs from 500 meters underground- named 松葉 96°C Atagawa 15 in Izu-Atagawa (伊豆热川),  which is colorless and transparent, slightly salty and odorless. Yes, this facility uses the recycling method along with  disinfection substance. We considered Japanese Hot Springs (ONSEN) very good here. We will go back again when we will be at that area in the future. Currently, the pool is closed until July, 2025 and will be closed again in December 2025.

I stayed for the first time with my children in a Japanese-style room with a cypress bath. First, my wife and I admired the size and quality of the Hinoki bath. It was bigger and better than I could have imagined. I got lost with hotels around Higashiizu, but I'm glad I made it to Atagawa Prince. The hot springs and the food were highly evaluated, and I chose the room because there were many rooms with open-air baths. As a result, it was the best hotel in the Izu area. Dinner dishes included abalone, spiny lobster, and golden-eyed sea bream (which was 30 centimeters long). Breakfast was also served in a private room with a stylish Japanese meal to satisfy both mind and body. Everyone seemed to be in a private room for dinner, and I was really grateful for the way they treated me with their children. I had a bouncer for my 0-year-old baby and had no trouble eating. This was a great response for a kid's plate that even a 2-year-old boy could eat. I can't take a long bath on my usual trip, but this time it was completely different. The children and wife were so satisfied that they could not get out of the bath. The hot springs are also used in the baths in the rooms, and the fact that they can be used 24 hours a day is really wonderful. Baby baths, cribs, and toys were also provided in the public bath, and nursing rooms were available everywhere, so even families with children could feel safe. I asked for a humidifier and diaper bin around 22:00, and I appreciate the staff's constant support late at night. There was food, staff at the front desk, and foreigners, but I had a good impression that they were well educated. There was also a lot of local alcohol and a selection of coffees sold at the front desk, so there was not a single problem. The luxury of the facility was also very nice, and I enjoyed the banana alligator garden, which can be reached in a few minutes by hotel shuttle bus. Anyway, it was a satisfying trip. The amount of dinner was too much, and I couldn't move for a while after eating. Great Japanese food.
