We stayed 3 night in the hotel and played two rounds on the Fuji course. Golfing was superb!! The Fuji course is in great condition and the layout is a must play!! The hotel is very old fashioned but well maintainded. The rooms are ok, rather old fashioned than modern. The room service is great. Towels are changed daily, the minibar as well as tea and coffee are for free and refilled every day. For breakfast you can choose between japanese and european style (they are served in different restaurants. So if you travel as couple or family you have to choose the same kind or you have to separate for breakfast!) The onsen is new and there is also an outdoor bath with great views. Thats a real pleasure!

The calm atmosphere was as usual, but it happened to clash with the return time of the golf players, and the lobby was busy checking in. The room was a little deeper, but it was close to the new spa facility, so it was a good place for us to stay and eat. We had dinner on the grill, but it was no different from the taste of the course use rejamaine dining. The next morning, I had a late meal, taking into account the start time of the golf, so I think I was able to spend my time slowly. I feel like there are more and more people playing golf like there used to be, but that was a good thing for the old people, because it was lively.

A golf course was built first, and then this hotel was constructed as accommodation. As you would expect from a classical hotel, the building, food, facilities, employees and scenery are all comfortable and sophisticated. The roof is made of red Spanish tiles in a Southern European style, giving it a very resort feel. The interior is stately and you can feel the history. The room was beautiful. For dinner, I chose Western food. All of the dishes were elaborate and delicious. The sauce was so good that I ended up eating a lot of bread. I also enjoyed a delicious breakfast while looking at the Kawazu cherry blossoms that had just started to bloom. There is an observation tower from which you can see Mount Fuji in the distance and Izu Oshima across the sea. The sunrise from the hot springs and Izu Oshima were also wonderful. All of it was a memorable experience. Next time I'd like to play golf!
