I was watching Ryohei Odai’s program about the temperature of Oedo and wanted to stay at TAOYA for the good of dinner, but when I learned that New Okabe was the only one in the nearby prefecture that had been renewed to premium, I immediately booked it. The buffets at New Okabe's Tasuibatei and Toi Marine Hotel were reasonably good, so I was expecting a buffet that was upgraded to premium. As it turned out, only two kinds of Haagen-Dazs ice cream felt premium and normal after that. Carbohydrates (sushi, soba, yakisoba, etc.) make you quite full. Is tempura not seafood, but commercial instead? There's no windy fried shrimp or trendy live kitchen steaks, but roast beef is the main thing. The steamed basket on the table was delicious. The other dishes didn't feel premium, with vinegared pork being the better meat dish. Honestly, I don't have a main dish. For me, the image of premium was a dish that I couldn't get lost in, but I didn't have that excitement. Breakfast was still good. Freshly prepared croissants were served on wagons, hot Satsuma-age, dried fish to be re-baked on the table, Mago chazuke (pickled sesame seeds) and okonomiyaki kaisendon (seafood bowl) were also good. What wasn't premium-like was mealtimes, where you have to swap places in an hour from 7 to 8 so if you go late, the next 8 o'clock group rushes in very quickly. If you come in at 7 o'clock and you're eating at a normal pace, I don't think that's a problem, but it's going to be tough if you're a slow eater or have small children. Free access to the premium lounge is good for alcoholics, but you can only drink there, so if you can't, at least take it to your room. The quality of the hot springs is normal, but there were two baths, and the garden bath was especially pleasant. Service is normal and the 11 o'clock check-out is good. I was able to stay cheaply because I used the translation plan this time, but I didn't really feel the difference between standard and premium. I think the premium Oedo Onsen Hotel is good for those who like alcohol.

This time, we stayed here again as a group of three women from three generations. Actually, I posted a review about it, but the other day we stayed at the sister hotel Atami, but there were many disappointing points, so this time we went back with the same group for revenge. [Lounge] There is a free drink counter. Tea, coffee, alcohol, and popsicles are also free. The massage machines are also free, so there were many people waiting for a seat. [Food] I couldn't find the all-you-can-eat crab on the website during this period, but there was one. There was very little meat, but it makes the table look more lively. The boiled golden-eyed snapper was a shame because it was only bite-sized. The tempura was as delicious as ever. The breakfast buffet had so many varieties that we couldn't finish it. [Room] Non-smoking Japanese-style room with 10 tatami mats, Sagami-tei, 7th floor The tatami mats were clean and you could see the sea from the balcony, but only a little. The room was well-cleaned and we had a comfortable stay. The futon was folded in three beforehand. [Bath] It was comfortable and there was no stress of crowding, considering we stayed on a Saturday. There are two large public baths, Sagamitei and Surugatei, but they are not that large. The opening and closing times of the two large public baths are different, so it's best to check. [Other] Free shuttle bus available Hotel ↔️ Ito Station Free manga corner available Karaoke box and table tennis available The last hotel in the chain was disappointing, so this time was good in every way. My family said they would like to come to this hotel again and again. Personally, I'm worried that the free drinks and massage machines will disappear someday.

Upon arrival, there is a welcome service in the lobby offering alcoholic and soft drinks as well as ice cream to soothe your fatigue. Before dinner, take a bath to soothe your fatigue. Dinner is buffet style and includes all-you-can-eat and drink, including snow crab, leaving you feeling extremely full. The hotel also offers indoor and outdoor open-air baths and a relaxing hot spring. There is also free use of table tennis, so you can work up a sweat, and there is also a cheap karaoke booth. The yukata come in a wide variety of sizes and patterns, which is also great.
