I was lucky enough to secure a reservation here during the busy Golden Week.
The hot spring has a salty quality, typical of its seaside location, which warms the body deeply. While the baths (indoor and outdoor) are not overly large and there is no sauna, the post-bath amenities are excellent—including free soft drinks, ice cream, and high-end massage chairs at no extra cost.
The buffet-style meals offer a huge variety that children will love, and a major highlight is the all-you-can-drink alcohol included in the plan. Everything served was of good quality, making it a highly satisfying and value-for-money stay.

It is also close to Tokyo and Yokohama, so it is convenient to go by car or train. I used it to go and see Kawazu Sakura. I have used the holiday village four times in the past (Papillo Onsen, Minami Izu, Omihachiman and Shikanoshima). I thought the food was delicious and wonderful in every holiday village. The hot food was kept warm and I don't think there was any dish that wasn't cold and delicious. In Minamiizu, they offered turban shells grilled, and I ate about 10 of them. (Even though they were grilled, they were not like robatayaki, they were cooked with hot water, but of course they were warm.) The bath was good, too, both inside and out. The facility is old, I think, but the inside of the building was beautifully renovated, and I felt comfortable. (All four vacation villages.) It might be a coincidence, but I felt like most of the guests were more seniors. Next month, I'm going to visit a vacation village in Ibusuki, Kagoshima. As an aside, there is a large tempura tempura tempura bowl restaurant nearby, so I also recommend this one. There are many seats and a large parking lot, so it is safe.

We stayed overnight in late Feb 2024 as we were road tripping with rental car around izu peninsula. This resort style hotel is very dated. The onsen area was large with multiple indoor and outdoor pools. The dinner and breakfast were served as buffet style, I loved the local turban shells and fish dishes. The hotel is only accessible by car and local bus, It appears we were the only foreigners.
I personally won’t classify this hotel as resort due to its aged facility but services and food are food.
