Impression: As I arrived late, there was only one parking lot available. Dinner is at Restaurant Suruga Teishoku on the ground floor" (1,700 yen). If I checked in early, I could use a family bath, but it was full for many families that day. I was able to eat breakfast well. As is often the case with other hotel buffets, Shibuyajima City was the place to eat, but here, the staff were more friendly. I think this is a good service. I was actually planning to go to the safari park the next day, but I stopped because I didn't want to be crowded, so I would like to stay here next time. Rooms were small and the bed was squeaky. Stayed here as part of an organised tour so would not have been my choice in accomodation. Not a great location, it was surrounded by industry. Had dinner which was average and breakfast a little better. The restaurant staff were pleasant.

For travelling around Japan the Route Inn brand offers a good cost to quality ratio and as the facilities are more or less copy exact, you know what you will be getting when making the reservation. Only complaint at this establishment, was that there were no non-smoking rooms available during my overnighter. Other than that it was as expected. Good breakfast, wifi and a public bath. At this hotel if your room is front of house then you may be able to see Fuji-san. There is not a lot near the hotel, a 7-Eleven and an Izakaya. However it was ideally situated for the start of the Fuji-Susuno half marathon.
