Day Nice Hotel Tokyo

The only reason we stayed at the Day Nice Hotel was because it was part of a group tour package. Stayed there for 4 nights. A large majority of the hotel guests are taking part in tours groups. Overall, the hotel is not as bad as some of the previous reviews make it out to be. It’s a tour group hotel, so in that context, you’re only there overnight and for breakfast. Gone throughout the day. The hotel is clean, quiet, and safe. There was no queue to enter the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was fine. Our hotel room overlooked the river. There were 3 of us in a room with 3 single beds. Slightly smaller than a standard hotel room, but there was enough space for our 6 pieces of luggage. I believe there are two sizes of rooms and we were in a larger room compared to others. The bathroom is about half the size of a normal hotel bathroom, but still large enough to bathe and do your business. I did like the hotel providing pajamas on each bed. There are a bunch of restaurants and convenience stores near the hotel. On the negative side, there is a wall mounted fan control with settings for low, medium, and high. However the fan blows warm air. There is no temperature control. The room can be too warm for some people to sleep comfortably. Also the elevators have a tendency to close fast, so don’t be slow getting on.

I know I wasn’t booking luxury accommodation however this was quite a surprise. The room was that small and I could not store my suitcase anywhere other than on the bed. I had no fridge and the bathroom was like stepping into an added annex. The bathroom was that small, almost head butting the door when sitting on the toilet. Not much room for your usual daily rituals. Also, they advertise a bar that isn’t operational, either is the restaurant. Do yourself a favour, pay more and stay else where

Extremely basic, it is clean. TV doesn't have any English channels. There is no music in the room, so please bring your entertainment. Only one person can be in the room at a time. Double bed only. Basic hotel. Breakfast doesn't cater for Europeans. Not recommended for Australian guests. We are part of a trip deal group, and most people in the group have done trip deals before and loved them. However, this deal has left everyone disappointed with the accommodation choice so far.
