Toyoko Inn Tokyo Nihombashi Zeimusho Mae

We booked a double bed, but we like to sleep under separate blankets. So we asked for an extra duvet with cover. They only gave us a blanket. Then we asked for an extra sheet. The front desk manager lady said we weren't entitled to one because we'd booked a double bed, not 2 singles, and didn't give us one. Before Tokyo, we stayed at a hotel in Beijing in a double room. There, they gave us an extra duvet with cover without any discussion. Then, to save money, the front desk man suggested that they only clean our room once during our 4-night stay—the day before our departure. We explained that on our last day, cleaning was no longer important to us and that we wanted it cleaned every day. One day, we had to leave the hotel before breakfast due to an early excursion, so we asked the same front desk manager lady to prepare takeaway breakfast boxes for us—as we've done many times at other hotels in many countries. She refused, saying that for hygiene reasons we couldn't take food out of the hotel. I've never heard such nonsense in my life !!! We were very unhappy with our stay at this hotel and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Stayed here in 2023. Love this hotel. Staff are great and very helpful. Rooms clean and very nice. Close to attractions and fab pizza house cum brewery 5 minutes away. Stayed 3 nights this time and loved it. Would stay here in future. Well recommended.

The most spacious rooms in our first visit in Japan. About 5 minutes walk to two train lines Kodemacho and Higashi-Nihombashi. The last one has a direct access to the Narita Express which makes our trip home more convenient. Staff has been very helpful and accommodating to our needs. There is a limited selection buffet breakfast that comes with the room rate. Quiet neighbourhood.
