Visited this place to have decent/inexpensive access to the Tokyo Sky Tree. Found the day shift lady to communicate a little better with me in English than some others so far. Rooms are small as are most places in Tokyo that are budge-wise. Found the room was cleaned daily also. Note to travelers - they are going to want to keep your room key when you head out for the day or head out for the night. There is a curfew related to this hotel and that time is 01:00 am. Personally I don't believe that is necessary for this area does not seen to be prone to crime. Found a lady - not really accosting - but stopping patrons as they left to remind them to turn in their key before they departed. Again, not necessary. On the brighter side - there was good conversation and some times - at times another staff member seemed short tempered when I tried to ask questions. Maybe it's a culture thing - not hating on it. Only spent almost a month in Tokyo and attempting to communicate with local folks in English whilst here - so that's the worth of this review. The rate is good (around $50 US per night if booked early enough) and it is certainly close to grocery stores just out to the right of the hotel and plenty of eateries within walking distance. Several blocks walk down (see a map) will carry you to the Tokyo Museum of Contemporary Art. The lady who would clean the rooms every day was one of the most wonderful people I've ever met. We could not communicate much to each other, but how I wish I could have told her how very nice she was to me. Thank You. There are at least two subway/train stations down either side of the street down from the hotel that are easy walking distance.

If you are looking for a budget place this is a good deal! We only spend one night in this hotel before leaving the capital. It's was a nice stay, the room was quite small but this is Japan! We did not get much light but we did not spend much time in the room so that was ok. We had our own breakfast in the small room next to the reception and the staff offer us to heat for free some hot water for a tea .

We slept here on our last night in Tokyo. It's a nice and clean place, although I found our room was a little dark. It's also clean and they have a lot of information about the area and other parts of the city. The location is not the best, but it's easy to go anywhere with the subway.
