APA Hotel Roppongi Itchome Ekimae

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Starting with a self check in it with the employee that does not speak the barely minimum of english. More than 10 employees in the hall staring at you, nobody helped us with the luggage. The room as you enter has a disgusting smell (they provide deodorant…) it’s dirty and no cleaning up to third day. The size of the room is less than 6m2 for two people with luggage, we can’t move. The bathroom is a plastic cabine as small as a camper one with a sink smaller than a cup and no room for a beauty case. It’s an awful overall experience. No services, the employees speak no english, no water fountains with free filtered water, (purchase machines in the lobby.)

We spent here the first 3 nights of our trip to Japan, the location of the hotel is convenient, close to various stops and metro lines and in a neighborhood where there are no shortage of bars, restaurants and clubs. The room, however, was really tiny, with very little space for suitcases and consequently also the bathroom, smaller than other accommodations around the country, for the same price... Even the fact that the cleaning was done on the third day made our stay not too comfortable.

It doesn't matter when we arrive in the hall, we have a feeling that the hall is all people but the waitress standing in front of the counter is also empty and does not actively ask about the feeling of the crowd, so we proactively approached the desk in front of the counter (thinking that they were self-help reporting), then the waitress stopped us and asked why? The process is very indifferent and brief, remembering that the previously staying on the screen was the airplane self-help report, when there is a little memory (at least not having to look at her face). We usually don't need a hotel to clean the room, so choose an affordable long-stay project; this time is arranged on the second floor, and every day you go out to see the clean appearance of the neighboring room & a full pile of cleaning products on the wall next to the door (usually also wakes up by a clean knock). Previously, other hotels where long housing would be arranged in a relatively unstable floor, but during this time observed, was arranged in a low floor with high mobility, which is not tight, the most painful is the fundamental disaster of elevators such as 2F. The hotel does not open to walk the stairs, but to get out of the hotel often takes the most time waiting for the elevator; the elevator capacity is small, the elevator configuration seems to be preferred to run on the upper floors, almost often the number of elevators are full and can not ride, but long-lived projects are arranged such a situation regret to choose to stay here. A card will be provided on the day of check-in, telling you that the room will be cleaned up on the third day of check-in. As mentioned above, being arranged to stay in 2F from 1F is very close, but in case of elevator overclocking, etc., just let us know tomorrow to get the card. Thinking that the desk will at least note or hand over, as a result of the first floor before leaving the house the next morning, I have to take time to reexplain why I need to take this card... Travel is relaxing, but this stay was my most busy experience.
