Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba

Nice stay at Grand nikko hotel Daiba. Very nice stay with good rooms, close to gundam. Rooms are solid. We had a 3 bed room. We stayed for 4 nights. Gym is nice, but it is not included in the price and opening hours are limited (from 07-22), especially in the weekend and Sundays it is a limited window to get a work out in.

Our family of four stayed at the Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba for four nights during our recent vacation in Tokyo, and it was an outstanding home base for exploring the city. The hotel offers a true luxury experience with impeccable customer service. Every interaction with the staff was warm, professional, and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. Our room was spacious by Tokyo standards and beautifully appointed with high-end finishes and thoughtful amenities. The feather pillows and comfortable beds made it easy to recharge after long days of sightseeing. There are a couple of quirks that American travelers should know about. The outdoor pool requires an additional fee—even for hotel guests—which was ¥5,000 per person, plus ¥3,000 if you’d like a deck chair. That was unexpected from our perspective, though it may be more common in Japan. Also, luggage assistance can be limited during busy times. If you need help with your bags, it’s worth calling well in advance of checkout. Otherwise, be prepared to bring your luggage down yourself. The location is another major plus. The hotel is in the lively Odaiba area with convenient access to the train station, making it easy to explore all of Tokyo. We also loved having a 7-Eleven just steps away—perfect for grabbing snacks, drinks, breakfast, or anything else you might need before heading out for the day. Overall, the Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba delivers luxury accommodations, exceptional service, spacious rooms, and a convenient location. We’d happily stay here again and would highly recommend it to families and anyone looking for a comfortable, upscale Tokyo experience.

In May 2026, we stayed for ten days in this nice hotel in a premium room 2119 on the 21st. Floor with a view of the "Rainbow Bridge," the Tokyo Tower, and the Tokyo skyline. Two armchairs and a table were positioned directly at the panoramic window with a view. The room was already available for check-in at 9:00 AM. The room is very large and spacious at 44 square meters. It offers plenty of storage space, comfortable beds, pajamas, modern furnishings, an air exchanger, air conditioning, and more. The bathroom is very large and equipped with a bathtub and shower. The washlet is easy to use, and the toilet seat is warm even in hot outdoor temperatures. Razors, combs, toothbrushes, toothpaste, body wash, shampoo, and facial care items are provided. There are two restaurants for breakfast; the lobby café is very nice. The breakfast is extensive except for cheese and cold cuts. Egg dishes are freshly prepared at the cooking station. We did not like the selection of bread, so I bought baguettes at French bakeries at the station and took them with me for breakfast at the hotel. The hotel sells cakes, croissants, and baguettes in the lobby in front of the lobby café from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but does not offer these products for breakfast – very unfortunate. I could not find lactose-free milk in Japan. A promenade leading to a small beach is just a few minutes' walk from the hotel. From Odaiba Seaside Park, the super modern Hortaluna ships take 50 minutes to travel up the Sumida River to Asakusa. In front of the hotel is the "Daiba" train station, and by transferring at Shimbashi, all stations in Tokyo can be reached. From "Shimbashi," you can quickly reach Ginza on foot, as well as small streets with many restaurants that are very popular. Travel time to Shimbashi is 15 minutes. From Tokyo, we visited Kamakura, Hakone, and Nikko as self-planned day trips. A taxi from Haneda Airport costs €40 to the hotel. After ten days, we took the Shinkansen to Kyoto and chose the Shinagawa station, which is quickly accessible by taxi from the hotel. For the next trip to Tokyo, we would book the hotel again.
