Central Hotel Tokyo

We arrived late in the evening. As soon as we started unpacking I noticed the room was dirty. Hair on the bed. Mold in the bathroom. I complained and got a replacement on the same floor. Same story. Moved to a third room. We were dead tired by now. Decided to ignore the filth and go to sleep. One dirty room is an incident. Two is bad luck. Three means lack of basic standards. On the plus side, if you're a fan of TV crime lab drama like CSI, this may be the hotel for you! Lots of trace material to choose from. A lot of DNA samples. Even if the hair on the bed is missing a follicle, the one on the lamp shade or the one in the bathroom surely will! Are the spots on the lamp shade blood splatter? Grab the luminol and find out! Do the stains on the sofa come from a single source? What liquid caused the oxidation of the lamp base? How did the toilet seat break? All three rooms I visited would give you hours of fun. I would never EVER book this hotel again. (Attached photos are from three different rooms.)

We spent 3 wonderful days here seeing the sights of toyko. The hotel suited us well and with it's good location was close too everything we wanted to see on the first part of our visit to Tokyo. The service was excellent and the hotel efficient, clean and comfortable. We will be back.

Pros: Great location right by station in the middle of it all Very clean Good sized room for Japan Cons: No WiFi but they do have wired LAN Price is a little high but deserved for location My dad booked this hotel. I was teasing him because he happened to book the only hotel in Tokyo without WiFi! Probably wouldn’t stay here again just because of that fact as I hate paying for travel passes/roaming charges.
