Excellent hotel - The rooms were very well appointed. Aesop bath products and the remodel was very nice. We had a 2 bed room and stayed as a family of 4. The tv was large and modern, everything was well appointed and it was a truly lovely stay. We enjoyed breakfast everyday. The Japanese vs Western options were a bit confusing but the food was delicious. Best hotel breakfast we've ever had and the fresh made madeleine cookies were out of this world good. The location is a 12-15 minute walk to the metro station so factor that in. They do offer a shuttle every 30 minutes to the station and there is almost always a taxi available if you need it.

This hotel has exceeded all my expections; you are treated like VIPs with great customer service.. be prepared to learn some greeting in Japanese because they will greet you whenever they see you. Forget Shibuya sky, this hotel has view that tops it. If you are not a guest of the hotel, you can still visit as a casual visitor to the top floor. The lobby is at 41th floor and all the rooms are above it. The room is roomier than probably all the hotels in Tokyo. It is also very clean and modern, due to the recent renovation. We were given a welcome gift of small bottle of rice wine and free club access and breakfast for 2 adults, due to our globalist status. Our room faces the Mt Fuji, which is visible but not particular interesting from the distance. We woke up early for the Japanese breakfast...they told us it is first come first serve. Both Japanese and Western breakfast are superb. Espcially notable about western breakfast is a buffet style and they do have fruits, which are expensive in Japan. Of course even if it is all-you-can-eat, one should respect the spirit of buffet and not overeating expensive items. The NY bar on top floor is a must visit. It has live jazz and great night view. If you want to experience Bill Murray in Lost in Translation, it is just feels great. The shuttle runs every half hour from hotel entrance to the edge of Shinjuku station. You can walk to the Shinjuku Washington Hotel for the underground tunnel to the Shinjuku station during hot weather. https://maps.app.goo.gl/utjKypm18Rzua2Aw7 It is a long walk, but definitely doable. There is a bakery store inside the entrance to the hotel which is another breakfast option. Also below ground level has a nice food court and pharmacy. We discover it right before we left the hotel. I wished the reception had told us about that. Overall, we had a really nice stay, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

What can I say! Perfect stay. The hotel is stunning. Every detail is taken care of. The 52nd floor is a must!! Elegance and glamour in its purest form. We had an upgrade with an unforgettable city view. Top-notch service.
