Booked the room as non smoking and on checkin no smoking signs were everywhere. But the room stunk of smoke. It must have been a smoking hotel for many years until recently. We had 3 nights booked...

Small hotel with excellent and very helpful - kind staff all the day. Perfect location, near to Ueno station (subway and JR) with Seven Eleven in the area for small food or other super market needs...
