I made a reservation about six months before my schedule was decided due to the soaring hotel prices in Tokyo. It is close to Ikebukuro Station and Sunshine City, so it is convenient for transportation and shopping, and is reasonable. It is the same as the usual route in, so you can stay with peace of mind. Even though it is a free breakfast, there is a wide variety and it replenishes quickly. I just don't have a body towel, so I always bring one with me.

My first time to Japan so maybe I'm not used to their high standards in other countries but I loved this small but compact hotel. The Japanese really do think of everything and this place had so many all mod cons and more. The bathroom and my 1st ever use of a bidet was mmmmmm exotic ! Loved the deep bath and the complimentary high quality slippers amongst other things supplied, the only slight negative was the wifi was poor quality but these days I tend to use my own data cards. And the staff were very polite.

First, a notice: there is no parking as advertised, or very little parking that is generally full. Onto the good: 1. Affordable, 2. Great location in Ikebukuro, 3. Has sufficient amenities, 4. Allows guests, 5. Helpful staff. The bad: 1. Central AC that brings in cigarette smoke from other rooms. There is a small AC in the room that can help, also. But for some people, it may not be enough. 2. The beds are hard, 3. A little dingy looking.
