Kisyu Shirahama Onsen Musashi

I stayed at the inn about 40 years ago, but of course there's no sign of it, it looks like it's being expanded or renovated, It's getting bigger, but there's a stairwell, and that was a hassle, The view from the room was partial ocean view and I didn't like it, In the evening it was bouquet, there was a wide variety, especially the sashimi was delicious, unique to the sea, The panta is gone because of him, and the beach season will be bustling, but the offseason How to get over this must be tough, with hot springs and food, I hope you will do your best.

Word of mouth was good, so I booked it, but it didn't fit our family. I went with my children (0 and 2 years old), but I couldn't get to the reserved room by elevator. There are a few buildings standing, so once on the 3rd floor you unload a load from the cart, hold it in your hand, go up about 15 flights of stairs, put the load on the cart again and take the elevator up to your room. In the meantime, you'd think the hallways were sultry and not air-conditioned at all, unusual heat every time. It was very inconvenient for children and for large luggage such as sea goods. The staff and I were told in a matter-of-fact manner that we didn't explain enough and didn't seem to mean anything. The rice was a buffet, but I noticed towards the end that there was no instruction manual on where the kids corner was. The taste,, didn't suit our family. It was good to have Koohan. It was nice to have a card for the tray, but it wasn't smooth because of the steps. The most disappointing part was the hot springs. None of the water smells chlorine and should be filled. It smelled and smelled even after I left and in the shower. Many times I usually go to the hot springs, but only once. I asked the staff and they said it was like this on a regular basis. The amount of chlorine was too much for everyone else to understand not to care. I wondered if I had added a lot of chlorine by mistake, but I always thought this smell was impossible. There were also cockroaches, so I felt bad. I almost forgot my stroller when I checked out. I had no support and forgot to leave it completely, so I noticed it when I got in the car and it would have been great if you could tell me at checkout. In total, it was such a shame that I thought it didn't fit our home and I would never stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Musashi. The hospitality was next level and we felt so welcomed by the staff. On arrival we were brought into a lounge area and given locally sourced plum juice while a staff member checked us in and explained the amenities, room location etc. We booked a traditional tatami mat room and this was such a treat. The kids really enjoyed being in a traditional Japanese living space, complete with toilet slippers, japanese leisure gowns and futons. Despite some skepticism about the comfort of the futons and the grain-filled pillows, we found this sleeping set up to be one of the most comfortable in our whole time in Japan. Keen to get a grain filled pillow for home now! We didn't feel brave enough to use the onsen (i.e. prudish westerners not keen to go nude!) but lots of people did and came out looking very relaxed. This place is great for families, good value for money, clean and with excellent hospitality (free ice-cream bites and drinks machines availabile 24/7 went down a treat with the kids!).
