Hoemino-shuku Taki no Yu is one of my favorite inns that I repeat at Tendo Onsen. The guest room we used had a new water supply and a spacious bed in the Japanese-style room, which added to our comfort. The spacious public bath, as well as the breakfast buffet, were relaxed and enjoyed even when crowded, perhaps because of the generous table arrangement. The dinner was also elegantly seasoned and in just the right quantity, and the whole family was very satisfied with the scintillating service of the serving staff. I would love to use it again next year. By the way, it is also very convenient and recommended that the meeting point of DMC Tendo Onsen, which I had booked for Tendo sightseeing the next day, is a stone's throw away (1 minute walk).

It is an authentic hot spring inn. It was a large hot spring bath and I was able to take a relaxing bath. The quality of the spring was unusual, and it was a mixture of sodium, calcium, and sulfur. It smelled good with moderate sulfur. Breakfast was also delicious. The rice was especially chewy, and I could eat just the rice. There was a lounge and soft drinks were free. There was also sake, but that was for a fee. As is typical of Tendo City, there were shogi boards all over the hotel, and in the lobby there were robots and shogi players.

I visited with my kids. While enjoying delicious meals, I was able to relieve my daily fatigue by soaking in the hot spring. I also enjoyed table tennis and shogi. It's nice to relax in the hot springs once in a while!
