I personally don't like the large onsen inn, but I was happy here. Both the bath in the room and the large public bath were fed by the hot spring water. The cherry blossom bath on the first floor is especially recommended. The food was good. I'm especially happy that breakfast isn't so fast. The sea bream breakfast was very good.

We stayed there on September 29th. We booked the room selection plan with 5pm check-in from the official website and stayed there with three parents and children. As you would expect from an inn that represents Atsumi Onsen, the food is relatively good, such as the matsutake mushrooms and wild vegetables for dinner and the sea bream chazuke for breakfast. They also took care of the caramel pudding that I missed out on due to stomach problems, and the hospitality is worthy of being ranked in the top 10 in the hospitality category of the Travel Newspaper Company. However, if they don't set a plan to cut back on the food at dinner or reduce it for people with small appetites, there will be many cases where I have to apologize in front of the delicious food, and since I have an upset stomach, there are very few things I can eat, which made me sad. They are reluctant to collaborate with Onsen Musume. There is a Hibiki Shoten and a tourist information center nearby, so if you go there before or after entering the inn, you can buy collaboration products. The bath is made of sodium and calcium chloride and sulfate water, which is good for the stomach and intestines. However, it is apparently taboo for those with tuberculosis or any ongoing illness, or pregnancy. The men's and women's baths are switched between midnight and 5am, and in Rakuzan you can bathe in milky white water. However, the open-air baths at both Rakuzan and Rakusui, which boast free-flowing water, are small and leaves are likely to get in.

Thus beautiful place with excellent service really helped us when Bookings.com website gave us incorrect information. First let me say that the place, the spa the ambiance are just beautiful and the associated town is Historic with huge temples surrounded by perfectly manicured parks we were there for Fall leaf season and it was Spectacular. The kaiseki dinners were fantastic Now for the problems Like many hot spring places the hotel is a bit isolated so you need to have dinner in the hotel or do without. In this case we booked two identical nights on the Bookings web site but when we got there Bookings had only passed to the hotel one night dinner payment. This is significant since these many course dinners run $100 per person when purchased separately from the room. After wasting hours on the phone trying to resolve this we finally had a bowl of ramen each and called it a night. For Japan reservations in onsen/ryokan/inn type hotels the international web sites MUST be very specific about meals and inclusive amenities.
