Fuji Kawaguchiko Onsen Konansou

From the footbath on the roof, I could see Mt. Fuji beautifully. The rooms and hallways had high-quality textures. Too bad the vending machine happened to be out of order. There's only one vending machine. There is a convenience store nearby.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely outstanding stay – 10/10! Konansou exceeded all of our expectations and was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning views of Lake Kawaguchiko and Mount Fuji. The room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, and every member of the staff was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. What impressed us the most was the exceptional care they took with my gluten-free diet. Before our stay, I informed the hotel that I require a strict gluten-free diet, and the chefs went above and beyond to accommodate me. Every meal was carefully adapted, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. It never felt like an afterthought—they clearly put a great deal of effort into making sure I could enjoy the same high-quality dining experience as everyone else. It was one of the best examples of hospitality we experienced in Japan. Another gesture we greatly appreciated was that the hotel kindly stored our luggage for us while we spent a night climbing Mount Fuji before checking in. This made our trip so much easier and showed how thoughtful and accommodating the staff are. The onsen facilities were fantastic, the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, and every detail reflected the high standards of the hotel. Thank you to everyone at Konansou for making our stay so memorable. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Fuji area.

The staff are very courteous and helpful. Room spacious and great views. The dinner and breakfast was great. Tried the private onsen very relaxing. Typhoon delaying our travel as all buses west cancelled. Front desk very helpful in getting things sorted. Some speak better English than others so if you are having trouble just ask to speak to someone else.
