Amman Airport Hotel

Comfortable hotel. I only had few hours of stay but room was ok and what was more important to me this time, the shuttle bus was fast and I had not to wait for it.

Royal Jordanian Airlines delayed our flight by 17 hours in Amman (capital of Jordan). The transit hotel was where RJ put us up. After an hour and a half at the airport waiting to leave for the transit hotel, we were given a room that was clearly very dirty. The bathroom, toilet and general room was clearly very dirty with no surfaces wiped at all, and the BEDDING HAD NOT BEEN CHANGED FROM THE PREVIOUS OCCUPANTS. When reported, a young chap came to change the sheets, which revealed a wet, brown stain on the mattress below the thin sheet (no mattress protector at all). Both the duvet cover and the flat sheet were covered in hair and small black dots. A manager was very good and moved us into another room. It was equally dirty, but it did have clean sheets so we could sleep.

Dreadful, aircon not working, and I noticed on another review that it was not working 4 days ago. The internet is nonexistent, so you have to sit in the lobby to do any business or make calls, and the man in charge has told me it's because they have too many guests!!!!!! Corridors are dirty with rubbish and stained carpets, and the lift looks like it hasn't had a clean in years. Food awful, facilities awful. Basically, close it down and demolish it!
