Had to laugh at last review as I too had room 603B.
I was stranded at the airport at 2am but had a tourist visa so could leave. Had 26 hours so called here and agreed €100 for 3am - midnight next night aka 2 nights really.
First off, staff werr excellent.
Second, breakfast was basic but unique.
Third, location is outside the city. To get to City (cheaply) walk to Crowne Plaza 20 min away. Across from overpass get bus 13 (€0.75 / 0.25 KWD).
Kuwait itself isn't too dynamic - no tourists fo here so don't expect much. I got the odd funny look as I stood out as a white man strolling about.
Taxi to airport 5 KWD but I think on meter this is 2 KWD !!!

The cost to stay in Continental Inn is inexpensive for accommodation in Kuwait. Al Farwaniyah is a short taxi ride from the airport and buses leave from the street outside the hotel for both the city centre, beach area and Avenues shopping centre.
The room was large in keeping with international hotel chains. There was a fridge with bottled water, but no tea or coffee. to go with the kettle in the room. Room and ensuite shower room were clean. Air conditioning worked fine.
Reception staff were friendly and efficient. They organised the airport transfer which was part of my rebooked deal.
Breakfast buffet choice was reasonable. There is no evening meal provision but restaurants and cafes are just a short walk outside.
The pool did not look good. The film on top looked like the pool saw little use.
There was no disturbance from either the busy streets nor the neighbouring mosque.

Let’s get to the negatives first.
No1 - it’s directly opposite a mosque, so you’ll get woken at 4.30am with call to prayer.
No2 - There’s no option for a meal in the evening, the hotel only does breakfasts.
No3 - the free WiFi is painfully slow.
On to the positives.
The hotel staff were happy to help and check in was quick.
I stayed in Room 603B.
It was big enough, there’s enough storage for your stuff, the bed was comfortable, and the room was well maintained and clean.
There’s a fridge and a kettle, although you’ll need to provide your own tea or coffee to make a brew.
The AC worked just fine and kept the room nice and cool.
The bathroom was clean and modern and the shower worked just fine.
The lack of a restaurant forces you to go and explore the neighbourhood.
There’s plenty of options available and the locals were always friendly.
