Villa Santi

a beautiful place, peaceful, admittedly removed from the city. a beautiful park, very well maintained. we had a small cottage, nickel! I was afraid for the shower because you have to span the tub very large but it is very well done. the breakfast is varied and your good!

I loved this hotel. It was my Laos 'home'. In fact, I changed my entire travel plans to stay here for most of my time in Laos. The staff are all authentically beautiful, kind people who went out of their way to help me feel comfortable as a single, middle-aged solo female traveller. I needed deep rest and kind people around me, and that was exactly what I got. The ladies who worked in the restaurant are amongst the most genuinely kind people I've ever met. I really enjoyed taking to them. The meals are so hygienically prepared, nutritious and delicious. This beautiful building is one of Luang Prabang's most historical dwellings with links to the Laos royal family.

We stayed for two nights at this hotel, the location is great, a stone's throw from the city center, but in a quiet and peaceful location, very large and comfortable room, possibility to have breakfast on the outside balcony, croissants and great fruit!
