Anou Paradise

Stayed only one night for a visa run. A tired old hotel that has seen better days. Great location. Easy walking distance to the river. Staff were friendly. The food wasn't very good. For one night it was fine but I wouldn't go back.

First up, if you haven't been to Laos, don't expect the same style and quality as a non-Asian country. Things will be old, falling apart, peeling, etc and this is normal even in fancy hotels. This hotel has a comfy bed in a double room, good space and good aircon. The bathroom was average in upkeep but the water was hot even if it went all over the bathroom. Good location for walking around Vientiane. Cool night markets near the River, good food vendors down near the markets. Breakfast at the hotel was ok.

Was not impressed with hotel, older hotel, clean room OK but no toilet tissue in room at check-in. Hotel does not allow out side calls from room and refused to place on from the main desk. Food in the restaurant was not so good
