Beau Rivage Mekong

An unusual hotel that we came to love. Quirky, got its own unique style and architecture. Fabulous brick and steel work. Can be noisy at the front, so you might want to ask for a quiet room at the back. More like a private house than a hotel in some ways. One of us was very ill for a day and the staff and owner looked after us really well. Great fresh breakfast in restaurant next door.

Magnificent little charming hotel. The rooms are very spacious with courtesy kits, fridge, air conditioning and views of the Mekong. The hotelier was very warm and did not hesitate to stop his meal to go out and exchange currency with us even though it was very late. The location very close to the evening market is a plus. I recommend !!!

Very dated Decorating hasn't been done in years Air conditioning noisy and old Bed mattress probably older than the building Noisy traffic Everything in one room like a studio When we arrived wasn't the frendlist welcome could find our reservation Asked for map nothing Breakfast was next door (and always wanted a time instead of open sitting) If you must come to Vientiane (why nothing here) Would probably look for better accommodation One good point balcony over looks Thailand
