Khamvongsa

Nice colonial style hotel with rooms set back, well shielded from the street noise. Comfortable beds and modern bathroom. The Laotian breakfast was good and rich, the western variant rather meager. Staff were friendly and helpful. It has no elevator but when carrying suitcases was always helped.

Hotel is extremely central and easily accessible from the airport. The hotel offers an airport shuttle for a fee, but you can save yourself as there is a bus that runs to the center and also a regular taxi is cheaper. Very comfortable but high bed. Breakfast is ok, however, there are centrally located some very good breakfast options so you can consider what you are doing.

Lots to love about the Hotel Khamvongsa: a small, stylish, boutique hotel in the river quarter of Vientiane. My third stay and with each visit I was more and more impressed with the quality of the hotel, the care and attention of the staff, and the overall feel of comfort. Highly Recommend,
