Scruffy and run-down hotel waiting to be closed down. We were seduced by the pictures of the pool but the hotel is awful. The rooms are dirty and the breakfast inedible. The karaoke bar on the first floor appears to be used for less salubrious activities. We booked in for two nights but only lasted for one.

On arrival, we were impressed by the public areas, so were disappointed by our room, which was tired and in need of refurbishment. The bed was like a lumpy block of concrete. The breakfast was fine, although as seems commonplace in this area, the hot food was lukewarm to cold. Not a hotel we would consider staying at again.

Rooms are ok, but outdated. The first room we got had a leaking airco. There was no hot water in the bathroom, and for US$ 50 you can easy find better places. The breakfast was the worst I had ever, ever had. Sweet toast, cold tea, oily eggs, you name it. If you want to go to the restaurants and bars near the Mekhong river you have to take a Tuk Tuk and that takes about 30 minutes.
