The rooms are still large and well. The views of the mountains were very nice and pleasant to see the hot air balloons, paragliding and boats. The service isn't really good, any more than that. Repetitive lunches are not too good for non-Asian.

This hotel gets the award for worst service on my 8 week trip to Asia. Unkindest reception, worst breakfast service, gruesome coffee, dingy room, disgusting bathroom, torn sheets, total indifference across the board. The only positive is the riverfront location and the pool.

One night is enough. Very large room, balcony, beautiful view of the river, TV, fridge, courtesy tray. The room was clean but nothing more, however the corridors and stairs were not mopped often. We did not take advantage of the swimming pool because the color of the water was not inviting. Impossible to eat at the restaurant because closed (exceptionally or permanently - impossible to have the answer). Large breakfast room but when you have an army of Chinese who have passed in front of you, there is nothing left and the staff is not very responsive to restocking. Unfortunately, out of 11 nights spent in Laos, this is the only hotel that I do not recommend at all.
