Hotel; on a hill on the outskirts with views of the city Rooms; very big as an apartment from the French colony. Heavy old furniture with open fire, high beds that are just ok for two nights. All clean. Restaurant; breakfast simple as few guests but fresh. Dinner with pre-registration small menu local dishes. To the nearest restaurant a good one kilometer on the thoroughfare.

Unfriendly staff unable to speak in any other language. Dinner is reasonable food. Breakfast starts at 07.00 but is not fully laid out until 08.00 then he'll breaks loose. Rooms are reasonably laid out with a lounge area uf required . Bathrooms are a mess sealant loose all over the floor. Hot water system wired in? Shower head is only a quarter up the wall so you have to bend down to get wet. One half of the complex is unfinished and looks like all work is stopped. Shuttle into town should finish at 2100hrs Really it is 18.30 so tuktuk back to hotel. Not a really nice place to stay.

For: friendly and professional staff. Great clean room. Cons: Icy night (3°C) without any heating in the room. The first breakfast was not great with little choice. the second day there was a much better buffet.
