Albert Hotel

Not the best AC, kind of a run-down hotel, well located, 10 minutes to old city but super nice walk. Parks and churches, nice walk Riga is beautiful, has character and charm and is big. Around the hotel the architecture of the buildings is breathtaking. Many Michelin restaurants around the hotel away from the main central town where the tourist traps are. The hotel has small rooms, clean, but run down. Parking is convenient next to the hotel, park in the cheap garage not the expensive one, they are next to each other. Lobby is big and breakfast expensive, many options around a lot cheaper and better. So, overall, not my best AC hotel, would probably look for another hotel if back in this beautiful city, but if I have to stay here, I would be knowing its limitations

The hotel is situated only about a five-minute taxi drive from the old town..which will only cost you four or five euros using the local service. The hotel is clean; rooms are modern. It just does exactly what you want for a reasonable price. Location is good; there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and here, just a short walk or drive into the old town. It does everything perfectly well but nothing exceptional.

We were very happy with every aspect of our stay. Room was spacious,bed was comfortable,breakfast was as expected. Locatiion is perfect,surrounded by nice historic buildings,steps away from All attractions Receptiom staff friendly and efficient. The only minor minus was the bathroom cosmetics which seemd not to be branded or Marriott type level. Besides that we recommend this property in Riga. Spacious Lobby is facing the historic streets what with snow and illumination makes a perfect palce forBreakfast or just a Drink in the evening.
