I’m lukewarm about my stay here, leaning towards poor. You get what you pay for, but I think for the price, there are much better hotels to stay at. I found Golden Tulip Galleria Hotel terribly overpriced for the services offered. No breakfast offered, and amenities were pretty basic. Also, there was no hot water one night I was there. I only stayed here because it was near the airport, and the next time I find myself in Beirut, which is shortly here (Jan), I will seek out a better hotel in Hamra. The hotel is far out from all the attractions, and while they offer a free shuttle into town, you still have to find your way back, and taxis are ridiculously overpriced in Beirut. Overall, average stay, fine for a night, but as a tourist, better to look for someplace closer to the heart of Beirut. Depends on your purpose.
