Pangea Beach Resort

I would not recommend this resort to anyone. Paid 120$ for a room, there was no hot water, the TV was not working and the hair dryer was broken. After raising our concerns numerous times and being assured the hot water would be available within 15 minutes it was not. To top it off, the valet parking wanted to charge us for 2 days when we spent 1 night and left at 11am - a scam to say the least! When I complained to reception and asked to speak to a manger, I was told there was no manager on site. The best the receptionest could do was say ‘sorry’. No compensation, nothing. Don’t bother wasting your money on a place that doesn’t understand customer service or satisfaction. There are hundreds of other establishments in Lebanon that you can spend your money and get what you are paying for and above. The word ‘sorry’ does not cute it. So ‘sorry’ Pangea but you need to do better.

The most disappointing stay I’ve ever had. I booked a chalet for the weekend, and from the moment I arrived, everything went downhill. First, the rules are a complete disaster. They made me sign a paper with their policies, but they don’t even follow their own rules. For example, the paper stated that having an extra guest costs $30 on weekend, but when my mother arrived, they charged me $43 instead. The room facilities were terrible: • The AC didn’t work at all. • The sink was leaking. • The fridge didn’t cool anything, not even water. We had to order ice buckets just to drink cold water — and of course, we had to pay extra for that. • Overall, the service was extremely poor and every single thing had hidden charges. They clearly see customers only as dollar signs. One of the most ridiculous rules was that if you bring a sandwich from outside, you have to pay a $5 fee. Absolutely absurd. The biggest disaster came at checkout. For two days, I parked my own car without ever using their valet service. On the last day, the valet guy suddenly asked how many days I stayed, then told me I had valet parking fees to pay! When I explained I parked my car myself, he told me to “negotiate with the receptionist.” Finally, the he admitted I was right, but it was still a fight to not get overcharged for a service that was never provided whoch he took all responsibility for it. This place is overpriced, outdated, and completely mismanaged. They act like they are a 5-star resort, but in reality, they are worth 2 stars at most. 👉 I do not recommend anyone to waste their money here. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had in Lebanon

I had an amazing time at this resort. The bungalows were spotless, spacious, and very well maintained everything felt fresh and comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax. The food was outstanding, with a great variety and excellent quality at every meal. From breakfast to dinner, everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The combination of clean, cozy bungalows and top notch dining really made my stay unforgettable. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and exceptional food.
