Sun Hills Hotel

After a stay for three nights in that place, I can tell anybody that this is the worst experience a traveler can have. Unprofessional staff, worst room service ever, no room safes, poorest WiFi on earth and no laundry service! A five stars hotel? No way!

There is no safe in the room The ac was making very loud noises; they said they will send someone to check it and check the mini bar because all the items were at room temperature even the water!!! And they promised to bring a safe with them...no one came The bath tub and bathroom sink were draining very slowly; after shower the water level reached our 3/4 of our legs!!! In the middle of the night the ac didn't work at all anymore The breakfast was awful!! There is no buffet no coffee just 3-4 olives, labneh, omelette and halloum! The worst hotel ever!! Not even half a star!!! How the hell they gave them 5 stars???

We had total of 5 rooms for 1 week as I was getting married in Lebanon and the entire bridal party came from the US to stay at Sun Hills this summer. We had to change 3 of the rooms as soon as we arrived as the A/C was not working (it was August summer). The customer service is the worst I've ever encountered as we nearly had to beg for toilet paper by asking many, many times and then they finally brought us 1 roll. When they moved me to the "suite" on the day of the wedding, there were no sheets on the bed and they said that they were still in the laundry!!! The breakfast was just cold cuts, some cheese and beans every single day. There were no napkins displayed, so you would have to actually ask for them each day. For coffee, they only had a self-serve electric kettle for you to heat make your own instant Nescafe. The gym does not exist and the restaurant that they advertise is no longer open. It is an empty space with no chairs or tables. They charged us to "rent" the lobby for the traditional pre-wedding gathering with the groom's family claiming that this was to fund the cost of the A/C that they must turn on for the gathering! Even after we reluctantly paid for this, by 2 pm that day, the A/C was still not on and we had to remind them more than 5 times to please put it on as the guests were arriving shortly. By the time the guests arrived around 5 pm, the hotel lobby was still sooo hot and we were all sweating in the wedding pictures. The weather was better outside than in the lobby that we paid to "rent." Again the hotel employees showed no compassion and simply ignored our repeated requests. I have never felt so unwelcomed in my entire life. This should be a 2-star hotel maximum, so please look elsewhere and avoid this terrible experience!
