Grotthuss Boutique Hotel

Small hotel in immediate proximity to the old town. Beautiful courtyard that also serves as a terrace for the restaurant and where you can have breakfast. Rooms are nicely designed. Unfortunately, the hotel has no air conditioning. Our room had a constant temperature of 30 degrees Celsius. The bathroom door needs to be realigned. The television is outdated technology from 10 years ago. On two of the three days, private parties took place in the courtyard, which at least lasted until 11:00 PM with loud music and smoking guests. Windows are not or barely soundproofed.

We hosted a long weekend to Vilnius and we had a stay at the Grotthuss hotel. Very large room with comfortable double bed. Cozy sofa in front of TV with minibar right in front of the islands. :) Enough reasonable prices for drinks in the minibar. Spacious bathroom with everything you need set in the right place. Even more impressive, there are even ironing boards with iron. So, zero stress for those who want a fresh knitted skirt. Breakfast for all tastes and nice staff serving guests. You can enjoy the evening on the terrace, shielded by the noise of the road, with food and drinks from the hotel’s restaurant. Stay away from almost anything you could wish for. I recommend with an open heart.

The cleanliness of the room is abysmal, and sometimes shines through its absence. One of the days of our stay they did not clean the room and the lady at reception, hinted that we were lying. Unfortunate treatment and service. It's not a real 4-star.
