Le Place D'Armes

Situated in the heart of Luxembourg City, the Hotel Le Place D’Armes is just as beautiful as the pictures lead us to believe. Our room was clean, modern, and very cool until the summer thanks to the air conditioning. What really separates this hotel from others is the staff. We were in Europe for a few weeks from June through July. I am writing this review in August because I did not want to forget to help others who are looking for good hotels when they all seem to look the same except for the prices. The level of service here is incredible and friendly and efficient. I attribute this to solid management and training. Everyone we interacted with from the front desk to the bar and restaurant was heads and shoulders above all other hotels in the entirety of our trip. Bravo!

Location was second to none. Managers, both Mohamed and Gabriel couldn’t have been nicer and we were given an upgrade on arriving without even having to ask. Plus Mohamed was kind enough to give us a late check out, free of charge. The whole experience was really good and the room was very well appointed … sitting room, separate WC and bathroom with a comfortable sized bedroom. Aircon was great as temps were 30 degrees. We loved every minute!

Lovely historical place! Had a great time here with our family. Would definitely go back.
