Am Klouschter Hotel

We were charged €40 for checking in after midnight, and these fees are not specified anywhere on their policy Booking site. We informed them around 8:00 p.m. that we were stuck in traffic due to an accident, but they didn't even try to help us and told us we would be charged €40! Disappointing.

We stayed two nights at the hotel. Cleanliness impeccable. Very quiet, very comfortable room. Effective staff. Breakfast very good. Regret: in the evening (a weekend!) , the bar and restaurant were closed, could not test.

We had a double room to IronMan in Luxembourg at the hotel residence on Klouschter. The building looks old from the outside, but from the inside it is beautifully modern and newly renovated. Since it is a historic building, no air conditioning can be installed, which the hotel rooms (summer time) would have urgently needed. Already on arrival the room was between 25-30 degrees, which was not much better even by the somewhat "small, squeaky" fan. Our son unfortunately struggled a lot with the heat in the room at night. The road is not busy at night, but passing cars are quite fast - windows can only be opened for guests with deep sleep. Otherwise, the room was spacious and had everything you need. However, the size of the TV monitor no longer corresponds to the present day (PC monitors are larger). Also the bathroom could have been renovated a bit more modern. The shower head is quite small and does not let much water through. Summary: POSITIV: - super nice reception and staff - nice central location (many restaurants nearby/great park) - Baby cot on request / dogs are allowed on the third floor - nicely large and spacious windows - free parking, right in front of the house - several high chairs for small children available NEGATIVE: - very warm rooms in summer time / too small and old fan - TV monitor much too small for the room - Bar and restaurant was closed on Sundays - Breakfast unfortunately not value for money / No hot food like scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, bacon etc. Unfortunately in the summer with our little son not feasible, as just too warm. All in all for three nights but fine.
