A grand and gracious hotel located centrally in Kuala Lumpur, close to eateries and shopping centres. The hotel staff were outstanding in their efficiency, helpfulness and warm congeniality; which made our stay a delight. We hosted a dinner at the Serena Brasserie and Sanusi, the senior waiter, attended to every detail of our orders and needs through the evening. Definitely 5-star service. The hotel is very clean; rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. Lovely rain shower, good water pressure. Highly recommended hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Intercontinental Kuala Lumpur. The time spent during our breakfast was the most enjoyable part of my stay. The crew at the dining area were all receptive to my needs; providing me with the best coffee, providing utensils I needed, serving the best omelette ever. Two filipino waiters were the best!

We are a family of 4, F48, F13, M54, M17. We arrived at the Intercontinental and were immediately met with genuine smiles and kindness. The lobby is grand, featuring large columns, a pond with turtles and koi, a piano, modern art, and thick rugs. Around us were the various concierge desks and check-in area. Also visible were the bar to the left and the dining area to the right. We had two rooms booked, thoughtfully the hotel ensured the rooms were adjoined and accessible via shared doors in the dividing wall. There was the standard mini bar, robes, slippers, various bathroom accessories and large screen TV. Thankfully there were also wall mounted USB C points. The wall panel for the lights and AC were located right next to the bed and super easy to use. Breakfast was awesome and cannot be overstated. A chef was on hand to make fresh roti and dosai. Another chef at the egg station. Yet another making hot Chinese style breakfast. And of course, all the components to put together your own Nasi Lemak were on hand. Special mention to Ashraf who was incredibly thoughtful and the perfect waiter. As Melbournians, it was a welcomed surprise to find a coffee machine AND barista capable of making a flat white (Thank you Rubell). The staff were friendly and ready to assist with any of our needs. One day in particular we were due to depart early for a tour. The kids didn’t get up in time for breakfast, so the staff kindly packed a takeaway breaky for them. The gym was used daily by M17, and the pool by F13, with both facilities in excellent condition. We had a power outage in a part of our room one morning, which was promptly fixed by the time we returned after breakfast. Although the location is a little further out from the main action area of Bukit Bintang, it was a very cheap Grab ride in. On the plus side, we were walking distance from the Petronas Towers and KLCC mall.
