We stayed for three nights at the end of our Malaysia trip. The hotel is in a convenient location. A few local points of interest are well within walking distance, and anything further out is easily accessible via a short, inexpensive Grab ride. ​ Our room was clean and spacious, providing plenty of comfort for our stay. The breakfast buffet was decent and offered a fair selection to start the day. ​ Service was a mix of experiences. Check-in and front desk reception were efficient, though the team lacked the warmth and friendliness you usually hope for when arriving at a hotel. On the other hand, the rest of the staff—including the security team—were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. ​ Overall a solid, practical option for a short stay in the city.

Pros : Stay was comfortable as room was clean. Service was impeccable at front office, housekeeping and service staff from the restaurant during breakfast, as well as the doorman. Breakfast variety was decent. Location was convenient to the major shopping malls with a bit of walking. The walk was ok for us as we enjoyed exploring the surrounds. Cons: Room was a bit dated (could see wallpaper peeling off). The hotel is undergoing renovation in phases but it was quiet & we were not disturbed. This is no big issue to us as the service and cleanliness more than made up for it.

I spent three nights in a row on a Hankyu Trapics tour. (Room 303) This is my first visit to Kuala Lumpur. The tour guide took care of the check-in, so we haven't had to go through any procedures at the hotel. It was like a "studio suite" where I stayed. The first thing that surprised me when I entered the room was that it even had a kitchen and microwave. I think it's suitable for long-term stays because it's built in a condo. A large 55-inch LCD TV is mounted on the wall. Japan's NHK International Broadcasting will also be shown. Morning news Japan is an hour ahead of the pack. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, although this time it was a 3rd floor room and I could not expect a view. I didn't use the kitchen or microwave, but there is a 7-Eleven on the G floor, which I think is convenient for warming up purchased meals. The air conditioner was made by Daikin, a large company. When I drove, it felt a little cold at bedtime, so I turned it off at night and went to bed. Still, it was a little strange that it was not hot inside and I could sleep comfortably without air conditioning in Malaysia, where it is hotter and humid than Japan. The bathroom is equipped with a shower booth separately from the bathtub, making it easy to use. Shampoo and other amenities were also pleasant to use. The toothbrush came with a "corrugated" toothbrush. It tastes good. I also bought a Colgate toothpaste as a souvenir. (Many toothbrushes used in Japanese hotels taste bad.) The Hibari Clinic (Bukit Bintang Hospital) is located on the Gth floor of the hotel and is said to be able to speak Japanese. I didn't have the opportunity to use it this time, but I think it's reassuring when you get sick while traveling abroad. Breakfast wasn't much, but there were local dishes. You can cook omelettes and other egg dishes on the spot on the outdoor terrace, so we highly recommend using it. The location is also very convenient. It is within walking distance of Bukit Bintang downtown and close to Raja Chulan KL Monorail Station. It was my first time in Kuala Lumpur, but I was able to enjoy walking around the city with peace of mind using the monorail. I have fully experienced the charm of Kuala Lumpur during this stay, so I would like to visit it slowly by personal arrangement next time. 【Points of interest】 · Even if the hot water in the tub was stored, the water gradually drained away as time passed, perhaps because there was a slight gap in the push-type drain plug. · Hand shower is installed in the toilet. If you're not used to it, you might be confused at first. I've used the same type in Myanmar and Thailand. It was. If you are used to Japanese toilet seats with bidets, you may be reluctant to do so, but you are told to go into the village and follow the village, so it is also fun to experience the local facilities. The lobby is located on the G floor and there is a laundry room on the first floor. At first, I pressed "1" in the elevator because the lobby is often on the first floor of hotels in Japan. Overseas, the Ground Floor (GF) is often the first floor of Japan, so if you are not familiar with it, be careful.
