WOLO Bukit Bintang

⭐️⭐️ Very disappointing first impression despite a hotel that seems pleasant We have just arrived at the WOLO Kuala Lumpur and, unfortunately, our first impression is quite disappointing. We booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child aged 9 via Hotels.com. Upon our arrival, we discovered that the room corresponding to our reservation was windowless and equipped only with a king-size bed, and above all that it was not possible to add an extra bed for our child. The only solution that was offered to us was therefore to have all three of us sleep in the same bed, or to pay a supplement of 400 RM per night to upgrade to a suite. We really felt like we were presented with a fait accompli upon our arrival, even though we had made a reservation clearly indicating the presence of a child. We finally kept the room for the moment. We therefore find ourselves three to a small room without a window, with only one bed for three people. Another rather surprising detail upon our arrival: we only had two bath towels for three people. Another negative point regarding the included breakfast: there is no restaurant in the hotel and breakfast is delivered directly to the room. The selection is very limited, with only a few mainly savory dishes and hot or cold drinks. No buffet, very little choice, and notably no fruit juice. Above all, the room is absolutely not set up for three people to have breakfast: we only have a very small round table about 40 cm in diameter and a single armchair. It is therefore impossible to sit down properly as a group of three to eat. Ultimately, some people would have to eat their breakfast on the bed or on the floor, which is quite surprising for a breakfast presented as included in the stay. It is really a shame, because the hotel is quite pretty, the rooms are modern, and the location in Bukit Bintang is excellent. We were therefore quite enthusiastic about the idea of staying there. We have only just arrived and our stay is just beginning, so we sincerely hope that the situation will be able to improve in the coming days. But at this stage, our first impression is clearly mixed, mainly due to the lack of clarity regarding the room conditions, the solution proposed for a stay booked for two adults and one child, and the services which seem poorly suited to a family.

We cannot wait to return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking exceptional service and a memorable experience.
