Our stay at A’Famosa Resort Hotel was extremely disappointing and concerning. The hotel is severely outdated and appears to have had little to no maintenance in years. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that guest comfort and safety are not a priority here.
One of the most serious issues was the lift, which is dangerously unreliable. Getting stuck inside it feels like a real possibility, and it doesn't appear that there’s an emergency protocol in place. This alone makes the hotel a hazard.
The room itself was poorly maintained. The fridge was old, rusty, and emitted a foul smell, making it completely unusable. The TV didn’t work at all, and there was no attempt to fix or replace it. We booked for four guests, but were only given two towels and minimal amenities, which is unacceptable for a family or group booking.
As for breakfast, it was bland and below average, with very few choices and no effort put into presentation or quality. Attempts to reach out to staff were met with silence — customer service is practically non-existent. No one seemed available or interested in resolving even basic concerns.
This hotel has clearly been neglected and is no longer fit for guests. It is not only uncomfortable but also potentially unsafe. For the rates they charge, guests deserve far better. A’Famosa Resort Hotel should seriously consider closing until proper renovations, staff training, and safety measures are implemented.
Avoid at all costs.
