Hotel Sentral Melaka @ City Centre

Hm.... Well my room was...below average. The shower break. The toilet bowl at first time I come has some surprise. The staff well bit unresponsive. Asking for toilet paper making me have to go down to the receptionist. And still have to wait like 30minutes. The breakfast was alright. Not many to choose but it was OK. The bed seems not clean throughly. I find like several previous guest hair here and there. Really not recommend. Guess I'll never gonna be in this place no more. Guess it worth the price I pay 😅

The worst hotel ever encountered. Ongoing complaint which is dragging for 4 days now (still no solution). Booked and paid via Online Travel Agent (Trip.com) for a Deluxe Family Room which includes daily breakfast for 5paxs. Upon arrival, the grumpy front desk staff requested ID for verification. When asked on the breakfast, it was mentioned that breakfast were not included thus additional fee is applicable should we wish to consume the breakfast. We tried to show our booking confirmation however front desk was not interested or bothered to look into it. So throughout the stay, we did not consume any breakfast. Upon completion of stay, we brought this issue up to Trip.com for compensation. As we purposely booked a room that comes with breakfast (at a higher cost of course!) and it was clearly stated on our booking confirmation. Yet our inclusions were being denied. After 4 days of going back & fourth, today out of nowhere hotel mentioned that our family did consume the breakfast on daily basis during our stay as our booking was inclusive of breakfast. Now imagine how shocked were we to hear that. Unless there is a doppelgänger during that time? We are requesting for hotel end to provided us with a concrete evidence showing that our family members were physically consuming breakfast (I mean they have CCTVs on ground). Am still waiting for hotel response on this. Very shocked to hear from nothing to suddenly saying oh you did consume breakfast during your stay. Very interesting on the hotel’s end I should say.

Staff need to learn how to welcome guest and treat them properly. Ground floor of the hotel is so smelly. Breakfast food is so disappointing, cutlery were so dirty and dusty. Food were out, some of the food burnt. Milk don’t have taste, it taste like plain water. In room don’t have water bottle, toilet was not so clean. Very disappointing stay, won’t ever stay here again
