There’s truly no difference between KL and Janda Baik when it comes to noise pollution at this hotel. We were deeply disappointed by the constant disturbance throughout our stay. Directly in front of the property, there is heavy construction facing the rooms, making daytime noise unbearable. At the back, near the river, there was nonstop tree cutting as well. It’s impossible to experience any sense of tranquility in these conditions. What’s most frustrating is that the hotel is responsible for the environment it offers guests—whether the disturbances are in front of the property, within the gardens, or surrounding the grounds. Paying guests should not be the ones paying the price for poor planning or incompetence. We are not asking for luxury service, only the basic expectation of peace and quiet. No one chooses a nature retreat to be surrounded by construction noise. If we wanted that, we might as well have stayed in KL. To make matters worse, there was no one available at the front office—or anywhere on the property—when assistance was needed. We would not recommend this hotel due to the overwhelming noise, constant disruption, and lack of proper management.

For the budget there is nothing much to be expected. The room is ok, the toilet hot water runs out quickly, ventilation in the room is not great. Facility wise is also not great and meeting room is small. Their coffee is bland and they give bread without butter…. However, positive is the main meals: very good Malay food and they even gave us durian for supper. Their noodles and Kueh teow deserves to have their own shop somewhere as do their fried rice, belacan and curry. Extremely good. Their WiFi is also fast and well covered in the main areas. Overall the good outweighs the bad so give this place a try.

The place is quite run-down for the price they charged. The room was spacious but not really well maintained. There's only one viewable tv channel. The bathroom condition was sad. The wifi was almost non-existence. You can only receive wifi signal at the lobby!
