The Lakehouse

From the moment we walked in we were warmly welcomed by Param and team. The level of service and hospitality by Suresh and others was constantly outstanding. We spent many hours in the balcony which has a spectacular setting and amazing view. Our room was beautifully appointed and what a pleasure to have a capsule coffee machine. The bath salts was a great touch and enjoyed. Dinner was delicious. The entire establishment is spotlessly clean with tremendous attention to detail. This is our fourth visit to the Cam Highlands. and our first to The LakeHouse but one thing is for sure - our next visits to the CH will see us at The LakeHouse.! BRAVO and thank you!

What truly made this stay special was the employees behind the scenes who brought the whole experience to life through their warmth, sincerity and genuine care. A special mention goes to Balqis and Kiv from Reception, whose friendly smiles and thoughtful assistance made every arrival and departure feel effortless and welcoming. They had a wonderful way of making guests feel recognised rather than simply checked in and out. The dining experience was just as memorable thanks to Thilaga, Parames and Suresh from the Food & Beverage team. Their attentiveness, recommendations and genuine hospitality made every meal enjoyable and added so much to the feeling of escaping to a charming countryside manor. No stay would be complete without mentioning Samantha and Param, who truly embodied the role of gracious hosts. Their enthusiasm and commitment to creating memorable moments made guests feel less like visitors and more like they were being welcomed into someone’s home. Of course, many of the people who contribute to such an enjoyable stay often work quietly behind the scenes. The Housekeeping team deserves recognition for maintaining such high standards throughout the property, with every space feeling warm, comfortable and impeccably cared for. Chef Yusri and his Culinary team also deserves equal praise for the quality and consistency of the food, with dishes that perfectly complemented the property’s classic highland charm. This is more than simply a place to stay, it is an experience built around nostalgia, tranquillity and genuine hospitality. At a time when many hotels focus heavily on luxury and grandeur, this hidden highland retreat is a reminder that true luxury often lies in the little things, personalized service, thoughtful touches and the feeling of being welcomed back to a place that feels almost like home.

Best place to stay at Cameron highlands if you are looking for the perfect combination of beauty, comfort, good food, ambience and homeliness. The team is very friendly. We were 2 couples and 2 kids, perfect for everyone in every angle. Ample free parking - you can get your own car as well. The breakfast combos are to die for. Once inside the property, it feels like you are in Scotland.
