MU Hotel

Highly recommend this hotel. Clean, fixtures looks new, room is brightly coloured, cheers one up. The hotel actuallt provided bolsters ....love it. This isnthe first hotel I came across that provides that. Small thing but it is makes a difference. *thumbs up* ! Front office staffs are polite and helpful. We find Addy, driver of the hotel shuttle cheerful and helpful. He went one step more, recommending places to eat and places of interests. I do believe that our trip was make more enjoyable because of him. Thank you, Addy. Location is great too!

Cute hotel from the outside, wants to give the idea of being renovated, but in reality only small changes have been applied to rejuvenate it, but it is absolutely not a 4 star! Far from the center, you need the grab to return in the evening. Small room, not very functional, very hot, not very comfortable bed, only the bathroom was nice, clean with a large shower, but you have to wait to let out the hot water. Disastrous breakfast, only coffee, to get some hot milk you have to ask the staff and anyway it is all watered down. We would have happily had breakfast outside if there was anything outside, but it is isolated from everything.

Very modern hotel, most likely a former Ibis Styles. Spacious and bright rooms with a good view. Staff was mostly helpfu. Breakfast selection was also good while staff there was sometimes very helpful while sometimes quite ignorant. The hotel's location within Ipoh worked well for us. Unfortunately the rooftop was closed during our stay.
