Gayana Eco Resort Kota Kinabalu

The resort was absolutely amazing and nothing short of perfect!! Our group had a relaxing two days in our ocean front villa while also partaking in the many activities the resort offers. Sunrise snorkeling is a must! The food is also great and they offer a wide selection for every meal. We can’t wait to return again soon.

Stunning resort located about 15 mins by ferry from KK. The staff were all incredibly attentive and kind. The room was beautifully appointed with everything you may want. Very clean throughout the resort. Food was delicious and on par with other resorts we visited in KK. Lots of fish to see. Only downside was when we went for a snorkel at almost high tide and there were sea lice in the water. They had disappeared within the hour (and weren’t there at other times), so if you feel a stinging on your skin get out asap and wait.

Absolutely amazing 2 night stay here for myself and my 2 daughters (23, 20) in an Ocean Villa at the tail end of our Borneo Adventure and to celebrate my birthday. All the staff were lovely, starting from the very first greeting off the boat. They looked after me on my birthday too. Breakfasts were very good and great variety / options and dinners were just delicious. Our room was perfect for the 3 of us and very spacious bathroom. Snorkeling straight off the deck was the best thing ever. Such a special place, I'd recommend an over the water villa if your budget allows it.
