Hotel Indah

Despite the cigarette odour filling the room, the air-cond and water heater works well. The place also is very near to the KT bus station, which serves the main reason why I booked the place. It is easy too to go to the convenient store and eating place. If you are solo traveller looking for a temporary and safe place to crash for few hours, I recommend Hotel Indah.

Stayed there twice. We chose this hotel first since we haven't booked anything and couldn't find any better place that offers family rooms. The prices of hotels in KT are ridicoulusly high comparing to quality so Indah was a good choice being relatively cheap. Don't be fooled - the reception is much nicer than the rooms. When we came first, the whole floor was under reconstruction and our room was the only one more or less finished; it wasn't very clean but we couldn't manage, the bathroom was spacious, and quite new and there was a hot water, that flowed simply everywhere hydraulic problems quite typical for budget Malaysian hotels. Second time we came back there also without booking, in 3 days and we got the same room. The price was higher (because of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, but the hotel wasn't full). It looked like renovation is still in progress and in our room they just painted the door, resulting in a strong unpleasant smell at first night. Pro's - it's really few steps from central bus station. The place isn't very noisy. The staff were helpful and smiling. They let us leave our backpacks there until late evening (we had a night bus to KL). Stable and fast WIFI

We stay here before depart to Redang island. We book a quad room. When we 1st enter the room, it's like someone use the room just before we check in. The room have a strong herbal smell which I do not use for that. The room facility like toilet bowl is old with stain on it. The bed quality is not very good but no complain as it's budget.
