This hotel was so disappointing, so much so I’ve come on here to write my first ever hotel review.
The customer service was poor, there are so many examples, but to give one, when we couldn’t use the app to book tennis courts, we were told we couldn’t pay at reception or have any help booking- we just couldn’t use them.
The weather was beautiful during our stay but during one slightly windy day we were told the hotel needed to take down our umbrella (fair enough). Before my daughter could quickly move off the sunbed the staff member took it straight down and it hit her on the head- the staff member laughed.
I stupidly left my wedding rings in the room as I took them off when applying sun cream. I didn’t realise until I was on a day trip, and we called the hotel and asked them to check. They said they checked everywhere except my jewellery box and luggage and there was no sign. We came straight home and reception knew nothing about it. We then went up to the room and the rings were out on the side.
We booked two family rooms for our family of 6. Rooms were tired and dated- no where near the standard of any other 5 star hotel we’ve visited. They were cleaned okay on a daily basis but there was mould in the bathrooms.
Rooms above us were noisy- more of a young party crowd playing music on the balcony. Adjoining rooms were shouting up to them to be quiet.
Breakfast was ‘okay’ but again lacked the standards of other hotels we’ve stayed at. The breakfast staff were lovely.
It’s 4 euros for a bottle of water at the hotel, 16 cent over the road- so if you do stay, get your water elsewhere.
I would recommend staying at a different hotel.
