I was thrilled with my experience at Grand Fiesta Americana. My relaxing, fun, and wonderful experience is a direct result of the staff. They are incredible! Very friendly, and incredibly focused on guests' needs and happiness. Around the pools, if I walked three to five steps with the appearance of looking for something, a team member was asking how they could help or what they could get me. At the pool activities, the team gave all their energy to make you smile and laugh. At the restaurants we tried, the staff watched intently to ensure everything was perfect and looked for ways to delight you before you left. The special efforts that created wonderful memories: The Pool Activities Team! (DJ) Dayanna & Chema and their teammates Dulce and Aura brought fun to the pool in a big way. Their energy with water aerobics, Zumba, and mystery games made the days special. Their water aerobics is a real, much needed, workout! The volleyball games were a great opportunity to become friends with fellow guests. At the pool, Byan made sure my family and I were well taken care of. He ensured we always had drinks and was quick to ask and then deliver food. We never waited; it seemed every time we looked in the direction of a bar or restaurant, he would appear to see if we wanted something. We only made it to a few of the restaurants, primarily because El Mexicano was so special for dinner and Vina del Mar was so good for breakfast. We planned to go to El Mexicano only once, but the food was so good and the service so extraordinary that we went back on back-to-back nights. The Mixiote (and so many other items on the menu) and the chocolate empanadas were incredible. The service at El Mexicano was truly remarkable — each night they did something different to make it special for us. Finally, the Black Lemon was much appreciated by the insomniac in me. The show dancers were friendly and talented, with the ability to get the whole room dancing. After the shows, the DJs played great mixes, and the sound system was far more impressive than expected for the size/type of venue. Unfortunately, the place got very empty after the shows, but the DJ, bartender, and doorperson kept their energy up and ensured a good time for those of us there. The rooms were very clean with good basic amenities, and an above-average, comfortable bed. The TV didn't work. They kept the room well stocked with water, which, given the heat and humidity, was very much appreciated. The grounds are big and beautiful. While not an overly luxurious property, I was very impressed — especially with how well-manicured the landscaping was and how clean everything was. There were very minor signs of deferred maintenance, with pool tiles being the biggest concern — a problem for my wife and another guest. The pools are large, and the beach is very picturesque, with friendly fish swimming among your feet. The sitting area in the organic garden is a nice touch. Walk the grounds at night, and you'll come away with many, many beautiful pictures. We will definitely be returning.

This is probably our 10th trip to FA Los Cabos and it feels like coming home. The food is fantastic, the staff are welcoming and engaging, and the hotel is incredible. One thing we loved this trip was being able to use resort credits. Last year we wanted to try the golf and F1 but the price was just too high. This year we booked under a promotion that included resort credits and had a blast playing these games. I do feel if they were priced just a little lower they would be worth paying cash for. One thing I wish each restaurant had was a speciality cocktail menu specific to the restaurant. For example: a special martini menu for the steak house, Rosato can have a cocktail with limoncello and an Aperol spritz, Takumi could have a sake inspired cocktail. I know there’s a full bar available but having a special cocktail themed to the restaurant would be a nice addition. I will say we love the staff and appreciate they remember our family and greet us warmly every time. Victor, our waiter by the activities pool always went above and beyond for us. Nicole in the lobby is so warm and welcoming and made our day by greeting us so kindly each day. The activities staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was fantastic: Chema and Aura specifically went above and beyond. Dulce, Dayanna, and Breanna all made our time memorable and we are thankful to their hospitality. Raul in rosato is also a kind face we love seeing. Until next time!
