Grand Plaza La Paz Hotel & Suites

Reserved a room to meet a friend celebrating her birthday. Had reserved a suite with balcony. Checked into a first floor dark dingy room so got reasigned a floor up to a room that lamps didnt work, window and shower curtains off hooks, no shower head at all so it dripped rather than flowed. Irony is that we never saw another guest other than a small wedding party the next evening. Everything felt run down

The rooms are outdated and dark. The worst part was the towels, 2 super thing towels and no bath mat or hand towels. The shower was ok although all the hotel need a bit of work to make it look nicer. The sheets were clean and the size of the rooms were nicely big. The pool are was so so.... The breakfast area was not as nice. But there is a Starbucks very close by.

You can even bring your fish from he fishing trip and the chef will cook it for you with style room are clean and comfortable with excellent AC and cable TV, Some rooms have fridge. pool and vies are very good. The bar is open and breakfast buffet is authentic Baja California style, . Dinner is slow pace so take your time
